Drefach Football Club was founded in 1980, when the village needed somewhere for a football team to play. The pitch was cut from a stretch of former woodland — and one strong oak, felled in the process, was later worked into the club badge. Yellow and blue have been our colours ever since.
- 1 — 1980. The club is founded and the pitch is cleared.
- 2 — Today. The club continues to grow through the commitment of players, coaches and volunteers.
- 3 — Now. 16 teams play under the badge, from Under 5s to senior football.
