”As the majority of people know we have been affiliated with Drefach FC since the creation of Cwm Gwendraeth Ladies & Girls Football 7 years ago.
Drefach FC is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary year and with this comes a rebranded badge, a new club vision & a fantastic new kit which will be worn by 12 teams within the club. Cwm Gwendraeth has been a fantastic success, but as we want to grow the female game we feel that as a club it is a fantastic opportunity to rebrand our women & girls section. This will allow us to become part of the ‘one club’ vision, we will be wearing the same kit as Drefach, our female teams will be noticed more and with this comes more female participation in the wonderful game of football.
So it gives us great pleasure in saying we will be going into the season as Drefach Women & Girls.”
