No one would have expected a year quite like 2020 but our young and expanding committee have been working hard behind the scenes all throughout the year.
Changes have been implemented for all our age groups with a new badge to celebrate our club’s 40th anniversary and new kit and leisurewear for our 12 junior teams, 2 senior teams and 1 senior women’s team.
2020 was also the year that our affiliated club Cwm Gwendraeth Ladies & Girls Football officially merged with us and became Drefach Women & Girls. It’s a fantastic opportunity to grow the female game and we feel as club this will be a massive step towards exactly that. We are excited on what the future holds and be sure to follow our women and girls teams across all social media platforms for updates.
Our senior team won the Carmarthenshire League Division 2 Title at the start of 2020 and promotion was also confirmed for our development team. Making it 2 promotions in 2 years for the development team.
For our mini and junior teams participation has never been higher and we have more coaches than we’ve ever had before. With over 250 players signed with our club, the future looks bright with so many talented players and coaches involved
